Fun Server - Congrats to all the people that won Badges tonight. Over 5,000 Badges were won over a ton of Events.
Custom Fun Server - The realm is now up. Seems like no one wants to play because they actually have to work for their OP stuff now.
Classic Server - This realm is now up. Just like the good old days, grinding levels, running around without donar powers. This realm has no donar commands. Just straight up classic.
All Vote Points have been nerfed for Badges. You now get 1 Badge Per 1 Vote.
Shards will be reduced later on.

After weeks and weeks of having people QQing about this problem, it has come to my attention. Cross-Fraction healing is NOT OKAY in PVP. Cross-Faction healing is okay for end game raids, such as Sunwell, Black Temple, but it is not okay for AV. People that still Cross-Faction heal will get a 3 day ban, after that, it will be 7 days, and then a permanent ban. Players are encourage to report these players.

Fun Server is up and running right now. The server got a wipe since a few Ex-GMs here abused their powers, and Nick suggested that we wipe. It's a clean slate right now. Tier 5, 6, Season 2,3,4, Sunwell Vendors require Badges now. To obtain these Badges, you can either Vote. You can vote @ Shoupz Vote Control Panel. 2 Votes gets you 1 Badge. Another way to earn Badges is by PvP. 7K Honor gets you 2 Badges. You trade your Honor for Badges through a Vendor. Look for the "Currency Exchange" Vendor. You can also use your Badges and AV Marks at the "Vote Rewards" Vendor. Turn in AV Badges for Elixirs, Potions, Flasks, and other cosumables for PvE or PvP. You can turn in Badges for fun items as well, such as other mounts not in the mount vendor, and small pets. Since we have a pocket "Control Panel" spawned in your bag, you do not need to ask for spells anymore. If you think something is missing in there, send in a bug report, and have members agree/disagree with you, and thats how things will get approved around here.

Custom Fun Server is still down. This server will get a wipe as well. Same rules apply here as Fun Server. Vendors will be the same here, except you can get Tier 7, and 8 for free. Tier 9 and 10 will require Badges to obtain. Since due to so many complaining about Haste Mages, the Bullsh*t Weapons will be brought back. You will also need Badges to Obtain these as well. Badges and Marks will be the same process here as Fun Server. Basically, everything from Fun-Server will get ported over. After that process is complete, all the Custom Content will be added in.

Counter-Strike: Source Server. I haven't had much time to work on this, but there will be a CS:S server up for people that have Steam here.

Vent Server - The vent server died. The 2nd vent wasn't ours. It was donated by a player here. If you guys wish to have a vent server, I could get you guys a deal. 50 slots, 1 year, $137. If you would like that, feel free to contact me. If the vent server does happen, it'll be managed here by us, and not a 3rd party.
Other Stuff - I will start making Badges more easier. Since GMs are not on 24 hours a day, you, the players, can make the GMs jobs easier. Simply file a report on the forums if someone breaks the rules. If someone is hacking, report them. If someone is spamming, report them. If someone is refusing to vote, report them. If someone is talking **** about the server, report them. If someone is harassing you or other players, report them. The GMs and I will look into the reports. If your report is valid, the person that got reported will get banned, and you will get 1 Badge sent to your Mailbox.

The servers use a "Badge" system now. The only way to obtain "Badges" the quickest is by voting. You have other options in game such as the Custom AV Instance or PvPing for Honor Points. 2 Votes gets you 1 Badge. To give you an idea of how much gear cost in-game, the lowest things to buy are about 10 Badges, and the higher, more better items are at 100 Badges each. Get voting, your votes make this server donation item free.
Go to your World of Warcraft folder and delete the folder named 'cache' otherwise your client may bug when playing and you will not be able to see the items properly.

August 28th, 2008 - Thursday
The servers went down tonight. Things are getting worked on at the moment and it is 5:05 AM right now. It's getting pretty late, pretty early. I have class in 12 hours, so I might go on and head to bed. Fun Server has been getting worked on, patching up items to have "Level Requirements" if players wish to have legit twinks for fun. More Fun Server stuff is getting worked on, however, Fun Server will still be a Instant 70 Realm. Seems pointless as you read, but there will be a new realm up. This new realm will be called the "Classic Server" It will probably be on the Linux Box, but might be on this same server, I don't know yet. To summarize this new server, it'll be a realm, where you have to level, high rates on everything, no bag of crap, no donar powers, just good clean fun, like how things use to be. There still needs to be a ton of work done before this could happen. It might take longer than a week, who knows? I still have a ton of homework which I have not even started on. I'll post more information later. Please do not bother or ask me about details in private. It gets annoying. All news and updates will be posted here in this thread.

I don't need Wordpress. Anyways, what got done today was removal of Legendaries out of all the vendors. More items now have Level Requirement Caps and buy prices on items that people could of gotten for free. Remove a few items from the database, also a few un-needed vendors. In the process of working on a few new vendors soon. I need help from people. If you have the "Atlas Loot" UI Mod, I need someone to rip all the AQ IDs. There is a option in "Atlas Loot" that allows you to show the Item IDs. I need IDs for all AQ items so I can go ahead and get a AQ Vendor up for people that just like the Pre-BC Style. More work will get done later on today. GMs will now be assigned different positions. Positions are, Tickets, Event Manager, Item Restores, Missing Spell Trainers, NPC Demorpher/Pet Clean Up, and some other tasks. GMs will be assigned at least 2 tasks listed above. This will get the servers going and more active again. Good news for Custom Fun Server, your e-peens may grow once again. Due to the constant complaints with Mages, I will go ahead and re-add in the Bullsh*t Weapons in, however, you won't be able to by them at the vendors. They will drop via Custom Bosses. Fun Server & Classic Server will have a new way to obtain gear. Gear will be obtainable threw some kind of Badge/Mark System. Also, Classic & Fun Server will have a new Custom Free-For-All PvP Instance available. I might need an extension for all these projects going on with the server, plus I haven't even started on my homework yet. I have been putting the server first then school, which is really bad, so later, I might be doing some homework for a few classes then back to work on these servers. Also, I'm so please with the people that are still here, the active ones in the chatbox and forums. You guys are awesome.

More item level requirements were patched up today. There's still a lot more to go. I respawned all the custom vendors all over again. Vendors are located in Orgrimmar, Stormwind, GM Island and Shattrath. GM Island has limited vendors since people like to PvP there and noobs tend to whine and complain about it. I have Laev, Nick, Kanye and Riku helping out today, so things weren't that bad. I have implemented a new system for getting gear here. Gear will be required Badges to obtain. You can get these from End-Game Instances, the new Custom Free-For-All PvP Instance, or you can trade them in for honor points. I have made a NPC that will allow you to trade honor for Badges. Tier 4 will be free for all you guys that need to start off somewhere. Season 1 Arena Gear will be free as well. Season 2 and Tier 5 will cost 10 Badges a piece. Season 3 and Tier 6 will cost 25 Badges a piece. Season 4 will require 50 Badges a piece, and Sunwell gear will require 100 Badges a piece. Thank you to Kanhi, Superexo, and Laevateinn for getting me the AQ IDs. I will have those vendors ready later this week. Twink vendors will be available to people as well. I am in the process of getting those ready for you guys as well. I still have a crapload of homework. I managed to finished up one class, but I still have a lot of reading to do for that class. I will also get started on the custom mobs soon as well. There will be a lot of custom trash mobs that will drop Badges, and some custom raid bosses that will drop stuff that isn't in vendors.
AQ Vendors are all set up and ready to go. The Badge System is now working. You will now have a choice on how you want to get gear. You can either PvE or PvP, that is up to you. I am now working on patching up some other things, and off to make Twink Vendors. I have now completed all the custom vendor checks to see if they all have a Level Requirement or a buy price. I will need some GMs to contact me later, so they can double check my work. I will start working on Twink Vendors and Custom NPCs later today.

Okay, late hours once again. It is 6:42 AM as I am writing this. About to head to bed, I have been lacking a ton of sleep lately. The Alterac Valley Free For All PvP Instance is still in the works. Damn LUA doesn't want to work with me right now, so it's not scripted. It might be scripted, it might now, whatever, as long as you guys have new content to play with. Also, I spent the last 4 hours trying to get this reproduced. Service NPC It was posted in the Suggestion Box, and I just finished scripting and compiling it. It is not a NPC, but another one of those "Pocket Items" where you can put in your bag and use whenever. You can teleport to Shattrath, and your 4 Main Citys. You still have the other teleporter, which you can use to teleport to GM Island and Alterac Valley. This New Pocket Control Panel allows you to teleport to Shattraht, your four main cities, reset your talent points, show how many online players there are, open all flight paths, discover all map locations, advance all skills, remove resurrection sickness, and save your current game. Basically it's just your partial Fun Account 1 & 2. Also, you can train your own missing spells without having a GM. You need stances? You got it. Reach the required level to learn them, and you can train them all by yourself. Need forms? Same process, get to the level where you would have to go quest for it, then just click and train. Simple as that. Fun Account 1 & Fun Account 2 will get merged together as one pretty soon. Donations will be reduce in price, so cheaper powers for people that wish to donate. As the server life goes, I still believe that this server might die out before Decemeber 2008 if nothing is done. Lack of votes kill the server since we do not do donation items here at all. So keep voting. The Bagde System is set. You will be able to vote for Bagdes as well. 5 votes will get you one Bagde. Badges will be tradable for high end gear such as Sunwell, Arena Season 4, Bullsh*t Season 2, Tier 10 and so on, event stuff like mounts, pets, and other stuff you can not get from vendors.
Added a PvP System into the server. This might be implemented on Classic Server. What this is, is a script that allows you to kill other players for XP. You can still grind the old fashion way, or you can run out and chase noobs, gank them and get a lot more XP. Same rules apply, if they're grey, you don't get ****. I'm working on something right now, but I will annouce it later if I actually suceed in this next project.
I might add back the old PvP System as well, where you get Tokens when you kill another player at Level 70. We had it here about 7 months ago, but it went away. I'm still working on the Alterac Valley Instance, but I might not script the bosses. Maybe. We'll see how everything else goes.
September 1st, 2008 - Monday
Spawned some more stuff in the AV Instance. Waldo, Pinkelf, and Camcamnoob are the NPCs so far that you can run around and kill. Yay. Still more in the making. I just have to make a few more NPCs, and a few Bosses, and we'll be pretty much ready for launch. Everyone's Honor got reset for the Badge System, but honor is now set at 2x. You will get around 200-300 Honor Points a kill. It will cost players about 7,000 Honor for 2 Badges if you would like to earn them that way. A vote rewards vendor has just been done, and now spawned. What this is, is a Vendor, almost like the VIP Vendor, where you can trade in Badges for Mounts, Small Pets, and now...A crapload of Exlixirs, and Flasks. These will give players a upper hand in PvE and PvP. Fun Server will still be Instant 70, along with Custom Fun Server. Classic Server will be like the good old days without the donars. Players here can level up by grinding or PvP. You will get XP either way. All prices have dropped. Items will cost as much as normal WoW. Gold rates have dropped as well. In prepration of launch, I ask you all to go to your World of Warcraft folder and delete your Cache folder. If you don't do this, your WoW will tottaly bug out and use my old custom content. You will not be able to see all the new updated content on the server.
Fun server got wipe. Donation prices have lowered. Reason for the wipe is abusive GMs that are no longer here. How do people get full Season 4 when arenas are broken? Oh wells, too bad. When GMs screw up, they get fired, and you guys get wiped. There's still a lot of work needed on the servers. This is a pre-launch. AV still needs a lot of work, but everytihng else seems a-ok and ready to go. Each player starts out with 50,000. Just sell the "Bag Of Crap".

A whole new PvP System has been brought to Shoupz WoW. Due to the abuse of a few players about farming themselves for honor to obtain badges, I am now happy to annouce we have a new way to earn Badges through PvP. I did not want to do this but due to many complaints of "cheating the system" this had to be done. What this system is, you go PvP like normal, the server will annouce kills if you killed someone. You have a 50% chance to earn a Shard. You collect shards and turn them in to a Shard Vendor for Badges. When you get a kill, you will get a buff. Power Word: Fortitude - Spell - World of Warcraft is the buff you will recieve. To the people that think they can abuse this system, think again. If you take turns killing eachother over and over, you will get rejected on Shards. That means, shards don't spawn in your bag. 50 Shards will get you 2 Badges. This might get reduced later on depending on how this goes. A few missing spells got added into the "Control Panel". If your class is missing spells, report it on the forums. Also, PvP Titles work now. Happy Pvping! Rogues now own. They have a better range in PvP now. No more "out of range" can't attack stuff. Melee has improved. Watch out Hunters and Casters.

Well, the servers will be down for about a week for some maintenance, setups, configurations and stuff like that. Leechers and ungrateful noobs will leave, good for them. People that "claim" to be loyal to the server will stay here until the end, which is very very few now. I have been talking to others about this, and it's true, everyone here is all talk. Everyone here can say and make up a bunch of **** out of their mouths, but can't do anything about it. When things get bad, they just hop on the bandwagon because they don't have minds of their owns. As seeing how things are right now, server has until October 2008. Maybe we'll slide through, but it's going to end sooner or later. No one wants to join and pull this through, then fine, no one is forcing you to. People are right around here, it's you guys that made this happen to the server. I've done all that I can to make this place great, but the noobs that play here destroy everything. So, you don't like to vote? Meh. That's fine with me. This is how humans are, no one will give a **** until **** happens. Look at global warming, does anyone care right now? Hell no, they'll only care when its all ****ed up and we all panic. It's how life is. You'll never know what you lost until you know what you have lost.
Anyways, some stuff about the forums, noobs don't matter here. To get respect on forums, you have to earn it. People with less than 10 posts here and post crap here, it won't matter, its just junk, trash. Your opinion doesn't matter here. Build posts, build reputation, then you earn your respect here in the community.
Now onto College. Almost done with my first week, but already packed with homework. Networking, Network Security, and Cyber Security. I only have 1 chillback class this semester, and that is "Installing and Configuring Windows XP". I will still try to pull through to this community and try to make it better, but time is limited at the moment.

I'm just going to go ahead and post this. Time has gone by, and people come and go here on the servers. Big deal, people always come and go. Why complain? This site has been up since 2003, I have seen a bunch of people come and go here. Why cry now? Just because people leave the server because they don't get what they want. Boohoo. It's my time to make a leave once again. Why care for a server that does not care for the server back? I've told a few people about this already in detail, but I guess I wanted to let all you guys know of this. All this internet drama, real life drama, really wears me down. Drama is everywhere, I know this, but how drama works in my life is, it gets thrown all at once to me, just like everything else in life. All I've been seeing here are threads complaining about this, complaining about that, really, I stopped caring. When I was on vacation, I had a bunch of plans, ready to be put into action here on the servers. When I came back from vacation, I was slapped with a bunch of drama and bull****. I logged on the servers, and no one seem to care that I was back. People were commanding me to fix this, fix that. I had enough, and just left to go to retail. At least in retail, the people care about me. Chris and Leila have been there for me from the start, and probably know more than everyone else here. I've been hiding there for awhile. I know running away from problems isn't the answer, but meh.
Honestly, to have people tell you to go die or kill yourself, how is that motivating? I'm human, just like you. I have feelings, I have emotional break downs, I love, I cry, I can be happy or sad. Why treat me like I'm some robot that does only work for the server. The server has been great to me, I met a ton of people here, a lot of cool people and a bunch of noobs that made me laugh so hard I actually fell off of my chair. The community has been great, thank you to all those that have stuck around. There's also been a lot of relationships around the community. Take a look around. Most of you guys don't even know this, but I'm going out with Rikuniji. This just shows you how close the community can get. The community is strong, but like I said before, people come and go. The ones that stay until the end are the loyal ones.
I have posted before that I'm like a mirror. What you throw at me is what gets returned back to you. This applies for the server as well. What you throw at it is what gets thrown back at you. So you don't vote? Good for you, you hurt the server. So you like to complain and whine. Good for you, you make it okay for everyone else to do it. First take a look at yourselves before you start pointing fingers at me. As humans, especially in America, everyone thinks they are always right, even when they're wrong, they think they are right. It's really easy to point fingers at everyone, since you're not pointing it at yourself.
"The customer is always right" is commonly used in sales, but wait, are you paying a service here? Do you pay to play here? Seriously, think about it. This is a free service, the GMs here all have lives and other things to do. They're not here to be your slaves or to service you on every little thing you need here. I have people complaining, "You need more GMs". Actually, no. Why hire more GMs. I have done this in the past and all it lead to was the staff breaking apart. There is staff drama as well, and I have to deal with that crap as well. At one point, we had over 30 GMs here, what did it do, well, it got tickets done, but, everything got out of hand. Yes the service was great, but what do GMs do when they're bored? They hang out with their friends, give them items, spells, and max talent points? Is this what you guys really want here? Do you really want other players to have unfair advantages in PvP? Most of you guys wonder where all the GMs went, they didn't go anywhere. One of the main reasons for them not logging on is the players on the server. So what? Just ban them? Well, since they're more sites teaching noobs how to change their IPs instantly so they can hop on after a ban.
"Most of the people that play here are spoiled brats." and I think I would have to agree with the rest of the GMs here. So what if you play here? It does not mean you own and control the server. Complaining about the problems here myself won't do any good, but hey, you guys already wore me down enough to do anything about it. College is starting again Monday, and I think this is my last year until I graduate, so I have to push myself there as well. I gave the server all that I could, the best that I could, but I guess that was not enough to please everyone. I will be leaving now. Goodbye for now. If you really need me, you know where to find me.
